![]() I used the Nakamichi for that : it even had pitch control, which handy for delay length. I could not work with that machine : high frequencies were too compressed : and i was hearing the casette.īut it became nice and handy: the BX5 had no pre delay, early reflections. To tune the PA i had a fast Revox - remember no CD yet - to give me a clean signal.Įverybody hated the size and the weight of that thing: so the company i worked for bought me a high quality three head Nakamichi 5000 cassette player. When nobody but me ( i knew their individual sounds too well ) could hear, the decision was simple BX5. The rack unit BX5 was out and i tried : and i asked everybody to hear the difference. Reminds me of the past when digital components were rare or not existent.Īt that time good reverbs were difficult and we rented a flightcased BX20. Waves Plug-ins and Harrison Mixbus So far I like the way this DAW sounds. Serious tools that I pay close attention to as they are gaining ground. I have two toy daws that I love simply out of curiosity but never use seriously. Inside a mix It doesn't bring me much of a difference. Long time Pro Tools and Logic user here- V9 MixBus instant buy. In this case, even though I like not like love the sound of UAD spring I just compared it with SpringBox and it is not also far from UAD. Software: Mixbus 5, Mixbus 32C 3, Waves and Harrisson plugins. Here is the thing about me, if my ears can't identify a huge difference between plugins, I will go the one which is cheaper. waves Tune causes freezes all the time when moving the plugin window.
